You can eat everything, but avoid excesses. You need to eat a consistent amount of vitamin K foods every day, or if that’s not possible, avoid them altogether.
- Foods rich in vitamin K are: Green leafy vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, lettuce, beets, turnips, spinach, clover, asparagus, cauliflower), chestnuts, carrots, sweet potatoes, almonds, legumes (beans, peas), greens ( endives, endives etc.), beef and pork liver, mayonnaise, soybean oil, egg yolk.
- Consumption of caffeinated beverages such as cola, coffee, hot chocolate & chocolate milk as well as beverages such as green tea, garlic and Ginseng should also be avoided or limited.
- Drinking more than 3 alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, etc.) can increase the action of coumarins, so you should drink as little as possible during meals.
- Tobacco competes with the action of anti-coagulant drugs and therefore smoking is not allowed, which in one way or another causes serious damage to health.
