ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION

High blood pressure (hypertension) is a chronic condition in which the blood pressure in the arteries is elevated. This increase in pressure makes the heart work harder than normal. Arterial hypertension is the most important predictable risk factor for premature death worldwide. Assessment of hypertensive patients includes:

  • Detailed history
  • Clinical examination
  • Hematological, biochemical and hormonal tests
  • Recording – monitoring of blood pressure
  • Placement of holter AP
  • Cardiac Triplex with Fatigue Test or our most specialized test, Exercise echo.
