Sintrom is always taken ONCE, at the same time each day, preferably away from meals, in the afternoon or evening. If for any reason you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. If you miss more doses, contact your doctor.
The setting is done with a blood test called the prothrombin time or INR. At the start of treatment the INR should be measured frequently and then at less frequent intervals depending on the INR levels. But you should never delay taking this exam for more than a month.
